1. Who We Are

Connectly.Social is a networking productivity app operated by Heather Wilson. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at hello@connectly.social.

2. What We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Connectly.Social:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and hashed password when you sign up.
• Profile/card data: Information you enter on your digital business card (title, company, phone, website).
• Contact data: Names, emails, phone numbers, and notes for contacts you save.
• Photos: Business card images and face photos you upload are stored securely in Cloudflare R2.
• Usage data: Number of AI scans used, subscription status, and streak/activity data.
• Payment information: Processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide the Connectly.Social service:

• To create and maintain your account
• To power AI card scanning via the Anthropic API
• To send follow-up emails on your behalf via EmailJS
• To process payments via Stripe
• To improve the app and fix bugs

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate Connectly.Social:

• Cloudflare — Hosting, database (D1), and image storage (R2)
• Anthropic — AI business card scanning (images sent for analysis, not stored by Anthropic)
• Stripe — Payment processing (governed by Stripe's privacy policy)
• EmailJS — Sending follow-up emails on your behalf

5. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Images are stored in private Cloudflare R2 storage with access controlled by your account.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all data we hold about you
• Export your contacts as a CSV (Pro accounts)
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Correct any inaccurate information

7. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete all associated data within 30 days, including contacts, photos, and activity logs.

8. Cookies

Connectly.Social uses localStorage (not cookies) to keep you logged in between sessions. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

Connectly.Social is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
